BEST OUT OF WASTE

Today I am going to write about a problem we all always have in our kitchen, “Leftovers”.

Bhajias (Bhajis) from Leftovers:

Ingredients:

Leftover Vegetable Curry

Leftover Lentils

Finely Chopped Onions

Chopped Fresh Corriander/Parsley/Spinich

Gramflour

Riceflour

Garam masala

Oil for frying

Method

Drain liquid from vegetables and lentils. Then add half gramflour and half riceflour until the mixture is as thick as dumplings mixture. Add garam masala to taste.Might need to add bit of salt and chilli powder.Heat up the oil in a frying pan. Make small balls out of the mixture and fry them in the oil at medium heat.

The leftover bhajias can be eaten on their own with chutney or in a bread roll as sandwich. Slice the bread roll like burger bun, then apply chutney on  each side put bhajia in between, onion slices on top and Enjoy The Leftover Sandwich.
